Genos (ジェノス, Jenosu) is a 19-year-old cyborg who becomes Saitama’s disciple after bearing witness to Saitama’s easy victory over Mosquito Girl. Web ch. 6-7, Ch. 6-7 Four years prior to the start of the storyline, his family was killed by a rampaging cyborg known as Mad Cyborg.
He becomes a reluctant mentor to Genos, a cyborg seeking revenge against another cyborg who killed his family and destroyed his hometown, after Saitama defeats the monster Mosquito Girl that defeated Genos. Saitama and Genos join the Hero Association, hoping to attain notability, but Genos instantly obtains an S-Class rank.

Pacino mistakenly believes Genos is associated with the Dai Fuu Family; he steals the apartment key and kidnaps both men, promising to let them and the keys go once Genos states his case.
