Central Saint Martins is a constituent college of the University of the Arts London, a public art university in London, England. [ 2 ] [ 3 ] The college offers full-time courses at foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and a variety of short and summer courses.

In 2008 he was appointed Dean of Architecture and the Built Environment at the University of Westminster. He was appointed as Head of Central Saint Martins and Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of the Arts London in 2012, and held that position until September 2022. He was appointed the University Lead on Climate Emergency in 2018.
