In early Philippine history, the Tagalog and Kapampangan settlement at Tondo (Tagalog:; Baybayin: ᜆᜓᜈ᜔ᜇᜓ, Kapampangan: Balayan ning Tundo), erroneously referred to as the Kingdom of Tondo, was a major trade hub located on the northern part of the Pasig River delta on Luzon island.
