The T2 road begins from Zambia's border post with Tanzania near Tunduma as the Tanzam Highway and Great North Road. On the Tanzanian side, it is the T1 road to Iringa and Dar es Salaam. It starts by meeting the northern terminus of the M14 road (which connects to the Mafinga Hills) before passing south-west through the town centre of Nakonde. [2]
