Tōhai (凍牌) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kōji Shinasaka [].It was serialized in Akita Shoten's seinen manga magazine Young Champion from June 2006 to April 2011.
It follows Akagi, a mahjong player who becomes a legend after defeating well versed opponents while still 13-year-old only to return six years later. The series was originally broadcast between October 5, 2005 and March 29, 2006 on NTV. [2] The 26 episodes were later combined into two DVD box sets, released by VAP on March 24, and May 24, 2006.
