Word Association is a common word game involving an exchange of words that are associated together. The game is based on the noun phrase word association, meaning "stimulation of an associative pattern by a word" [1] or "the connection and production of other words in response to a given word, done spontaneously as a game, creative technique, or in a psychiatric evaluation".
Simply, the game involves adding a single word to the list that is related to the previous one. Edit the main game or branch section, add a word, enclose it in brackets, update the word count, and save the page. Also, try to avoid miscounting if possible - make sure there are 10 words in at each 10th word!

Word limits are eighty words on branches; sub-branches are permitted. Sometimes, the game degenerates back into the normal version of Word Association, but it really doesn't matter because it's fun either way!
