Al-Aryam Island (Arabic: جزيرة الاريام) is an island in the Persian Gulf off the west coast of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. It was formerly known as Bu Khushaishah. [ 1 ] The island is 60km away from Abu Dhabi and is connected to the mainland through a bridge.
Found in the waters of Abu Dhabi, it is protected as a private nature reserve. Bu Tinah Island, rich in biodiversity, lies within the Marawah Marine Biosphere Reserve with a territory of more than 4,000 km 2. The biosphere reserve is the region's first and largest UNESCO-designated marine biosphere reserve.

Al Maryah Island (Arabic: جزيرة المارية), formerly known as Sowwah Island, is a natural island located northeast of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. It is named for a famous oasis region in Abu Dhabi, Al Mariyah, which in turn is named after the species of Arabian deer - Al Mariyah - which live there.
It lies 100 km (62 miles) west of the city and capital, Abu Dhabi. It is about 13 km (8.1 miles) from east to west and about 5.5 km (3.4 miles) from north to south.
