Sheikh Sabah II bin Jaber Al-Sabah (c. 1784 – November 1866) was the fourth ruler of the Sheikhdom of Kuwait, ruling from 1859 to November 1866. He was the eldest son of Jaber I Al-Sabah , whom he succeeded.
Sabah succeeded his half-brother Abdullah Al-Salim Al-Sabah upon his death in 1965. He suspended parliament in late August 1976 for four years, claiming it was acting against the nation. [2] He was the 12th ruler in the family dynasty. [2] Sabah Al-Salim died from cancer on 31 December 1977 at the age of 64.
