The ' Obby 'Oss festival (/ ˈ ɒ b i ˈ ɒ s /) [1] is a folk custom that takes place each 1st of May in Padstow, a coastal town in North Cornwall. It involves two separate processions making their way around the town, each containing an eponymous hobby horse known as the 'Obby 'Oss.
Bobby Martin (November 3, 1987 – April 28, 2020) [1] nicknamed "Bobby No Legs”, was born with Caudal regression syndrome. As he had no legs or hips, he used his arms to run. A graduate of Colonel White High School in Dayton, Ohio, he played defensive lineman for his high school varsity team. He later attended Central State University.
