On February 7, 2000, Big Pun died of a heart attack, and his album Yeeeah Baby was released posthumously that year on April 4. The album debuted and peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Top 200.
Big Pun was originally a member of the group and some of his verses are reprised on this track. Jessy Terrero and Raul Conde directed the music video for "Take Me Home" and filmed it at a mansion in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles. [8]
