New Macs cannot run CS2. The CS2 activation servers were shut down years ago so any key you used in the past will not work now. Adobe has made available a non-activation version of CS2 for CS2 owners. To re-install you must download the new non-activation version and use the new serial number provided on that page.
According to an employee in another message, CS2 is completely gone, there is no longer a link to download any CS2 program. If you own a valid CS2 license (serial number) you MAY be able to have support provide you with the special version of CS2 that does not require the activation server, which is also gone. Thanks for the replies. I was actually able to solve the problem. A little complicated to explain. I'll just say that I had downloaded CS2 from the links provided at an earlier date, and after some digging found those files were still on my computer. I found the setup file and was able to get Photoshop CS2 going again.
Just installed PhotoShop CS2 (yes, it's old) after downloading it from the Adobe website, entered the serial number, and filled out the registration page. However, the registration page still re-appears EVERY TIME I launch the program no matter if I check the box that says, "Do Not Register"!! VERY frustrating!
