November 10 – Hurricane Nicole made landfall at 08:00 UTC on November 10 just south of Vero Beach on North Hutchinson Island as a low-end Category 1 storm with winds of 75 mph (121 km/h), becoming the first tropical cyclone to make landfall along the east coast of Florida at hurricane strength since Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
