The Somali Region (Somali: Deegaanka Soomaalida, Amharic: ሱማሌ ክልል, romanized: Sumalē Kilil, Arabic: المنطقة الصومالية), also known as Ogadenia (Soomaali Galbeed) (lit. ' Western Somalia ' ) [ 3 ] and officially the Somali Regional State , is a regional state in eastern Ethiopia .
