Sciota is an unincorporated community in Hamilton Township in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, United States. Sciota is located near the interchange between the southern terminus of U.S. Route 209 Business and U.S. Route 209 .
U.S. Route 209, Pennsylvania Route 115 and Pennsylvania Route 715 are the numbered highways serving Chestnuthill Township. US 209 follows a southwest–northeast alignment across the southern portion of the township. PA 115 begins at US 209 and heads northwestward across the southern and western portions of the township.
Pennsylvania Route 611 follows the Delaware River along the eastern edge of Chestnut Hill, leading south into Easton and northeast 17 miles (27 km) to Portland. Chestnut Hill is a 719-foot-high (219 m) ridge which runs along the southern border of the CDP, overlooking the Delaware River.
Chestnut Hill is home to several private schools. The Pre-K-12 Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, educates single-sex Pre-K-8 and coed 9–12, formed in 2010 through the merger of Springside School and Chestnut Hill Academy.
