Official answer. by Drugs.com. It is typically less painful to get your Mirena IUD removed than it is to get it inserted but for a few hours or days after the removal you may experience some light pain and bleeding, cramping, or feel dizzy. Think I should count that spotting as my first post-Mirena period? I took a pregnancy test, just to be sure, and I'm definitely not pregnant (so the weird spotting/period wasn't implantation bleeding). Is odd bleeding normal a couple weeks after IUD removal?
It took between 6-8 weeks for my period to come back after having my Mirena removed. I had it for 4 years with no period while it was in. And I actually got pregnant three months after having it removed. I wouldn't worry too much. My doctor said it could sometimes take even 3 - 6 months to get your period back to normal.

I have looked for similiar situations, but most people eventually start after 3-4 months, but I have seen nothing like ...

After doing a little bit of research I found out that there is a thing called a Mirena crash. Basically when you get the mirena removed your body has pregnancy symptoms but they will go away in a month or so unless you are pregnant. I got mine taken out in Oct. and my cycle is pretty regular and my symptoms went away after the first month.
