Plus, its got a Mega form and Signature move all its own, as well as a diverse move pool. Blaze Breed Paldean Tauros is Fighting/Fire. BB P-Tauros is the first non-starter mon to be Fighting/Fire. I guess they were too worried with making every single fire starter a fighting or a pseudo fighting to make that type.

Who is the best fire fighting starter in Pokémon? Discussion. For me its Infernape. It was the first Pokémon I’ve ever used, and I have lots of fond memories with it. He’s design is the best out of the 3. A monkey just fits the fighting aspect the most. Blaziken is also really cool. Emboar is ok. But for me it’s Infernape.

Because the Gen III, IV and V fire starters ended up all being Fire/Fighting... needless to say people got tired of it. 16. Reply. Share. giants707. • 11 yr. ago. Its nice for the first couple times but seriously we dont need it every generation. For every fire/fighting it leaves out other possible fire combinations. 3.

Old. Q&A. kappa23. •. Mainly because Fighting is super effective vs Rock and the first gym is mostly Rock type, where the other starters have advantages. In the case of Emboar, it helps in the Nacrene gym. Infernape is based off Sun Wukong, who was known to be a great fighter in Chinese mythology.

Primeape, especially when Mankey is accesible earlier in the game. Cross Chop, Rock Slide, Aerial Ace, Bulk Up/Strength for Primeape. Aerial Ace in this case is ised for Agartha whose Ghost types start playing evasion shenanigans with Double team.

  8. Fire/Ground. The broken type combo nobody talks about. :...

Fire/Ground is also quite an effective typing on the defensive side of things, boasting resistances to Poison, Bug, Steel, Fire, and Fairy, and an immunity to Electric. All for the low cost of only 2 weaknesses, to Ground and Water (4x on the latter). Camerupt is too slow and too frail to take advantage of its typing, but on something faster it ...

  9. This pair can makes an extremely interesting switching pokemon against a steel, a fire or an ice type because of the 4x damage reduction. On the offensive spectrum, Water/Fire allows you to hit Grass, Bug, Ground, Fire, Ice, Steel and Rock types for super effective damage which is very nice. Fighting : Electric is the best type

  11. Why do we all hate Fire/Fighting Starters? : r/pokemon - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/.../why_do_we_all_hate_firefighting_starters

Everyones complaining about them while we have many other waaaay more overused types like psychic/fairy, bug/flying. In fact the monotype starters are overdone too, even more so than fire/fighting. We couldve had dark/grass (serperior), fire/electric (cinderace), etc. There all rip offs of blaziken the original.
