It was our first time using AF in years. This seat is a huge plus for them, but pretty much everything else falls a fair bit short of our usual choices (WY, QR and SQ). Join Date: Dec 2013. Posts: 6. Air France seat selection. Hi, I recently booked a flight from YYZ to PVG via CDG on Air France (premium economy class A). I was able to select seat on CDG to PVG, PVG to CDG and CDG to YYZ, but it didn't allow me to select seat on YYZ to CDG leg, and the website shows "no seat selection".
I had to go to the AF website, plug-in my confirmation number and select seats for the AF flight which got reflected immediately on the DL trip details page. About 2 days are ticket purchase, I am able to see the AF seating charting on the DL website and follows the same rules for seat selection as the AF website.
Sorry if this is being discussed elsewhere. Feel free to merge. Booked LAX to PPT business class award tickets today for 64k Flying Blue miles each. While booking, the system mentioned that no Sky Priority benefits or seat selection before check in would be provided. After making the reservation, I was able to select seats without issue.

KLM always allowed advance seat selection on all flights, and until recently also for free for normal eco seats. if you are a plat and book award tickets for someone else you/they can select any seat for free, including eco comfort and exit rows... just did that yesterday...
