We are referring to a line spacing problem in the left navigation pane of Windows Explorer. Following a recent update, the line spacing has increased significantly, and there is no option to modify it. Interestingly, this phenomenon has occurred on one of my PCs running Windows 11, but not on the other. The compact mode does not resolve the issue.

Check the Task Manager to identify any resource-intensive applications. I have noticed in the recent days (it may be nothing) but Windows Explorer is using a fair bit of RAM.

I would suggest deleting the entry and reboot, because it seems like the entry is not even in windows 11, at least in mine it wasn't. Deleting worked for me, and the entry did not come back after reboot. I introduced that entry on my win11 when i imported a personalized registry file that came from a windows 10 customization.
