In 2003, the Tokyo Manji Gang are founded by Mikey, Draken, Mitsuya, Pah-chin, Baji, and Kazutora. Kazutora convinces Baji to help him steal a motorbike for Mikey's birthday. During their heist, Baji realizes too late that the shop is owned by Mikey's older brother, Shinichiro, who Kazutora impulsively bludgeons to death.
Takemichi learns that Mikey's second-in-command, Draken, will eventually be killed and lead to Mikey becoming violent. Takemichi resolves Mikey and Draken's dispute; however, on August 3, 2005, the Tokyo Manji Gang is attacked by a group of Moebius members, who are led by Valhalla member Shūji Hanma.
Takemichi learns that Mikey's second-in-command Ken Ryūgūji aka "Draken" will eventually be killed and lead to Mikey becoming violent. Draken survives the rumble, but Pah-chin turns himself to the police after stabbing Moebius' leader Osanai, which later causes infighting within the Toman.
