This Stupid World is the seventeenth studio album by American indie rock band Yo La Tengo, released on February 10, 2023 by Matador Records.It was recorded and produced by the band in their studio space intermittently between 2020 and 2022, during the COVID-19 pandemic and represents their first effort self-producing.
Copy/Paste is a compilation album by Scottish-American rock band Garbage released on November 29, 2024, as part of Record Store Day's Black Friday event. "Frágil" is a regional Mexican song by the American bands Yahritza y su Esencia and Grupo Frontera. It was written by Kevyn Cruz, Luis Ángel O'Neill Laureano, Yahritza Martínez and Edgar Barrera, who also produced it.
The songs were recorded by the band placing a single mic in the center of their rehearsal space. The improvised songs are reminiscent of ambient music, with slowly moving, droning sounds. The digital version of the album includes recolored versions of the main cover art attached to each track.

Comprising eleven cover songs as well as five originals, this album is regarded as a departure from their previous albums due to it containing mostly folk songs. [citation needed] "Barnaby, Hardly Working" is a new version of the song featured in the previous album President Yo La Tengo.
Yo La Tengo's take is of a distinctly different style, with a much slower tempo. A techno version of "You Can Have It All" was used as Northwest Airlines's theme song under the Now You're Flying Smart slogan. The track "Our Way to Fall" appears in an episode of Six Feet Under titled "Driving Mr. Mossback" (season 2, episode 4).
