A parts book, parts catalogue or illustrated part catalogue is a book published by a manufacturer which contains the illustrations, part numbers and other relevant data for their products or parts thereof. Parts books were often issued as microfiche, though this has fallen out of favour.
The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Aircraft was a weekly partwork magazine by Aerospace Publishing (an imprint of Orbis Publishing) which was published in the United Kingdom (and sold in other countries too) during the early 1980s. Aircraft Illustrated was a British monthly aviation magazine covering military and civil aviation topics with an emphasis on photographic features. It was first published in 1968, renamed Aircraft in 2009 (later, Classic Aircraft ) and ceased publication in 2012.
