Abdul Djalil Pirous (11 March 1932 – 16 April 2024), known as A.D. Pirous, was an Indonesian fine arts artist and lecturer.He was a pioneer in graphic design education at the Fine Arts Institute of Technology in Bandung, and the founder of an art and design studio called Decenta (1973–1983).
His writings in exile include "Exile", "Orang-orang yang Dilupakan" and "Kronologi in Memoriam". Wispi's poems written during his exile period are included in "Di Negeri Orang- Puisi Penyair Indonesia Eksil" (On Foreign Shores- Poems by Exiled Indonesian Poets), published in 2002, which is an anthology of poets and writers in exile.

Umi Dachlan, born Umajah Dachlan, (13 August 1942 - 1 January 2009), [1] was a pioneering Indonesian painter and an art lecturer. [2] She graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design at the Bandung Institute of Technology ITB in 1968 as the third female graduate, where she also become the first female lecturer.
