Ellen Hamilton Campbell [1] is an American politician who is the delegate for Virginia's 36th House of Delegates district. She began serving after winning a 2023 special election to replace her husband Ronnie R. Campbell , who died of cancer on December 13, 2022.
Chitwood is a native of Wytheville, Virginia.He graduated from Hampden-Sydney College and received his medical degree from the University of Virginia in 1974. He obtained all of his surgical training at Duke University Medical Center under Dr. David C. Edith Bolling was born October 15, 1872, in Wytheville, Virginia, to circuit court judge William Holcombe Bolling and his wife Sarah "Sallie" Spears (née White). [3] Her birthplace, the Bolling Home, is now a museum located in Wytheville's Historic District. [4] Bolling was a descendant of the first settlers to arrive at the Virginia Colony.
The fort and its surrounding buildings served as the county seat until the incorporated town of Wytheville was established approximately 10 miles to the west. The fort fell into disrepair and its ruins were covered over when the intersection of I-77 and I-81 was constructed in the 1970s.
