Kalangala is on the northern shore of Bugala Island, the largest of the Ssese Islands in Lake Victoria. It is approximately 60 kilometres (37 mi), across water, southwest of Entebbe . [ 1 ] The coordinates of the town are0°19'17.0"S, 32°17'31.0"E (Latitude:-0.321389; Longitude:32.291944).

Entebbe is a city in Central Uganda which is located on Lake Victoria peninsula, approximately 36 kilometres (22 mi) southwest of the Ugandan capital city, Kampala. [3] Entebbe was once the seat of government for the Protectorate of Uganda prior to independence, in 1962.
The town is located about 13 kilometres (8 mi) northeast of Kampala, Uganda's capital city, along the Kampala–Gayaza Road. [3] In Kasangati, or near the town, there are several schools, including Gayaza High School, Our Lady Of Good Counsel, Kasangati High School, Kidde Primary School, Wampewo Ntakke School, and Nile College School.
