The campus is located in Davie, Florida and is part of the Broward County Public Schools district. Adult enrollment is approximately 1000 students. The magnet high school maintains an average of 600 pupils in the school at one time, about 150 students per grade.
The first class to graduate there was in 2006. In 2010, the school was awarded silver medal by U.S. News & World Report for the "America's Best High Schools" for three consecutive years. In 2014, the School Board of Broward County, Florida officially changed the name to Atlantic Technical College. [3]

Barry began graduate programs for men and women in 1954, a continuing education program in 1974, a school of business in 1976, a division of biological and biomedical sciences in 1983, and a school of podiatric medicine in fall 1985.
