The Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts is an annual event held in Jerash, Jordan. It is part of the Jordan Festival, which aims to enrich cultural activities in Jordan . Founded in 1981 by Queen Noor , [ 2 ] it features several shows performed by Jordanian, Arab and foreign artists.
The Al-Balad festival hosts different bands each time from Jordan and abroad, but with special emphasis on artists from the Arab region. The theatre is now used as a venue for cultural activities including the Amman International Book Fair, the Amman Marathon prize ceremony, and musical concerts, most notably the Al-Balad Music Festival. In August 2019, the American rapper Russ held a concert at the theatre.
