The font sizes and types are independent of browser settings or CSS. Font sizes and types will often deviate from what HTML renders. Vertical alignment with the surrounding text can also be a problem; a work-around is described in the "Alignment with normal text flow" section below. The CSS selector of the images is img.tex.
This simple template vertically centers text, including multi-line wrapped text. It is meant to be used inside a div that defines the region the text is to appear to be in the middle of. It takes three unnamed parameters: The text to be vertically centered (the main parameter)
The term "right alignment" is frequently used when the right side of text is aligned along a visible or invisible vertical line which may or may not coincide with the right margin. For example, if a paragraph that is flush right were indented from the right, it would no longer be flush right, but it would still be right aligned.
When a plain picture appears in text, it is aligned so that its vertical middle is roughly where the center of a lower-case "x" would be; if the image is larger than the line is tall, it sticks out both above and below. The vertical alignment syntax provides several options to adjust this.

An optional named parameter style may be used to specify additional CSS style attributes (e.g. font-size, color, etc).
