I present this info for debate. It sounds to me like the music for Three Little Birds was inspired by the song "Beardsman Ska" by The Skatalites. The horn riff in Beardsman Ska sounds like it was morphed into the bass/piano riffs and the entire thing slowed down quite a bit.
