The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time [a] is a 1998 action-adventure game by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64. It was released in Japan and North America in November 1998 and in PAL regions the following month. The game is the first in the Legend of Zelda series with 3D graphics.

The Gerudo first appeared as an established race of people in the series' world in 1998's The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.The Gerudo occupy a desert in western Hyrule, erecting a fortress, and are fiercely opposed to outsiders, especially men, being in their territory, arresting a group of carpenters who attempted to join them.
Midna uses the power of the Fused Shadows to attempt to finish off Ganondorf, but is found to have been unsuccessful when Ganondorf approaches Link, crushing the fragment of the Fused Shadow that Midna wore on her face as a mask. After Ganondorf is defeated and Hyrule Castle is destroyed, Midna is restored to her original humanoid form.
