Students can check their application status in the Applicant Center of MyMadison. The Applicant Center is only available after a student has submitted their online application and created a JMU eID.
Checking your Application Status After submitting your online application, you will be sent an email with instructions on how to activate your JMU e-ID. Once activated, you will gain access to the Applicant Center in MyMadison.
Individuals who have applied for admission to a graduate program at James Madison University will see an admission letter on their Activity Page. For some students there will be a supplemental letter from your graduate program that can be viewed as an item on your “checklist.”
