I've never read of a new Murano CVT replaced at the dealer for less then $4,800, and that was a case where the owner got the CVT at dealer cost due to long term issues. I did see a dealer replacement with a reman CVT for about a $1000 less, but you only get a 1 year warranty, as opposed to 3 years with a new one. Have a good day.
My 2015 Platinum AWD is at the dealership getting a new transmission. It just hit 29,000 miles right before the issue started this past Tuesday. From a complete stop it vibrated and didn't seem to want to accelerate. I tried manually switching the gears and nada. After probably 30 seconds and riding the curb it finally started to accelerate.

Install the drain plug with NEW drain plug gasket and torque to 25 ft-lb. Fill approximately 3-1/8 US qt of the CVT fluid. Start the engine. While depressing the brake pedal, shift the selector lever to the entire position from “P” to “L”, and shift it to the “P” position. Hold the lever at each position for 5 seconds.
