With 1,287,869 square feet (119,646.9 m 2) of total retail area, Greenwood Park Mall is the fourth largest shopping mall in Indiana, after Castleton Square in Indianapolis, Glenbrook Square in Fort Wayne, and Southlake Mall in Merrillville. The mall is managed by Steve Kempe as of 2022. [1]
The mall would be situated on 82nd Street just outside the Interstate 465 beltway within the Castleton neighborhood on the northeastern side of Indianapolis. [2] It was the second of three malls built by DeBartolo as a part of its expansion into Indianapolis, following Lafayette Square Mall in 1968 and preceding Washington Square Mall in 1974.

Broad Ripple Village is one of seven areas designated as cultural districts in Indianapolis, Indiana. [2] Located in Washington Township, Marion County, Indiana, [3] about six miles (ten kilometers) north of downtown Indianapolis, Broad Ripple was first platted in 1837, [4] became incorporated as the Town of Broad Ripple in 1894, and was annexed to the City of Indianapolis in 1922.
