Belterra Casino Resort & Spa is a riverboat casino on the Ohio River in Switzerland County, Indiana near Florence, roughly halfway between Louisville, Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio. It is owned by Gaming and Leisure Properties and operated by Boyd Gaming .
In October 2013, Pinnacle renamed River Downs as Belterra Park. [4] In October 2018, Boyd Gaming purchased the property from Pinnacle, along with three other casinos. [5] In addition to the price of the operating business, Boyd paid $58 million for Belterra Park's real estate, financed by a loan from Gaming and Leisure Properties (GLP). [6]
Eldorado Gaming Scioto Downs, formerly known as Scioto Downs Racino, is a horse racing track and casino in Columbus, Ohio, owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment.The venue opened in 1959, as the Scioto Downs track, and became Ohio's first racino with the addition of video lottery terminals (VLTs) on June 1, 2012.

The track races under the Ohio 7/7 Program which means that live racing is held at two locations in the state at the same time. During the summer Thistledown races seven races on a card and Belterra Park (formerly River Downs) races the other seven. In September, Beulah Park takes over for Belterra Park. Ohio racing is dark January to March.
