Justin Reed Walker (born 1982) [1] is an American lawyer and jurist serving since 2020 as a U.S. circuit judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. He previously was a U.S. district judge of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky from 2019 to 2020.
On June 6, 1986, Simpson was nominated by President Ronald Reagan to a seat on the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky vacated by Judge Charles M. Allen. Simpson was confirmed by the United States Senate on August 1, 1986, and received his commission on August 4, 1986. He served as chief judge from 1994 to 2001.
