This began on the 30 October 2023 when Thorpe Park announced that Angry Birds Land would be permanently closing.
The ride opened as X:\ No Way Out on July 1, 1996, as Thorpe Park's first non-powered roller coaster. It was marketed as the "world's first backwards roller coaster in the dark" and featured an elaborate queue system through multiple interactive themed rooms, such as a trommel tunnel, "decontamination" area and illusionary rooms.

Nemesis Inferno is an inverted roller coaster at the Thorpe Park theme park in Surrey, England, UK. The ride was manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, the same Swiss firm that built the Nemesis inverted roller coaster at Alton Towers. The 750-metre-long (2,460 ft) Nemesis Inferno is themed around an erupting tropical volcano.
