Also known as the Pacific Grove Inn, it was built in 1904. It was the home of city civic leader Frank LaVerne Buck (1849-1931), a native Midwesterner who was involved in the dairy and egg businesses.
The inn dates to the days when Pacific Grove was the western headquarters for the Chautauqua Movement. Irondequoit (Sea Breeze) 1917–1962 Opened in 1917 on a parcel of land next to Sea Breeze Park (Seabreeze) after a land dispute with the RW&O Railroad necessitated the moving of amusements from the Lake Ontario shore across Woodman (Culver) Road. Severely damaged by fire in 1932. Rebuilt as Boardwalk Park.
The Centrella Inn, at 612 Central Ave. and other addresses in Pacific Grove, California, United States, is a complex of four historic buildings that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The first two buildings of the complex were built during 1888–89.
