Speed Racer: The Videogame is a racing video game developed by Sidhe Interactive for the PlayStation 2 and Wii consoles, by Virtuos for the Nintendo DS and by Glu Mobile for mobile phones; and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Glu Mobile. It is a tie-in to the 2008 film Speed Racer, set one year after its events.
With determination to beat the Masked Racer, Speed sneaks out in the middle of the night and goes to the track. Even with the heavy rains, Speed is not soaked. Out of nowhere, the Masked Racer warns Speed to stay out of the Trans-Country Race. He declines and says he wants to beat him and the only way to do it is to race blindly into the night.
