The Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) is the international governing body for the sport of women's flat track roller derby. [1] [2] It sets the international standards for rankings, rules, and competition in the sport, and provides guidance and resources to aid development of roller derby.
Big Easy Roller Derby was founded as Big Easy Rollergirls in the spring of 2005 and had planned their first bout during Mardi Gras 2006.
