Fordham Preparatory School (commonly known as Fordham Prep) is an American, independent, Jesuit, boys' college-preparatory school located on the Rose Hill campus of Fordham University in the Bronx, a borough of New York City. From its founding in 1841 until 1970, the school was under the direction of Fordham University.
As of 2017, Fordham is composed of a total of four undergraduate and six constitutive graduate schools, [3] situated across three campuses in southern New York State, with its two main campuses in New York City: Rose Hill in The Bronx, and Lincoln Center in Manhattan. Bronx Park Terminal was a terminal station on the demolished IRT Third Avenue Line in the Bedford Park neighborhood of the Bronx in New York City.The station was located adjacent to Bronx Park and the New York Botanical Garden at 198th Street between Webster Avenue and Southern Boulevard, in the approximate location of the modern Fordham Preparatory School.
He entered Fordham University Preparatory School in 1960 and graduated with honors in 1964. He then attended Fordham University, graduating summa cum laude in 1968. [1] Murray was studying at Harvard Business School (MBA 1970 Section F) but left early when was drafted into the U.S. Army. Murray was inducted into the Army in 1969.
In 1990, O'Malley received an honorary doctorate in humane letters from Le Moyne College.In 2007, he received the F. Sadlier Dinger Award from educational publisher William H. Sadlier, Inc. in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the ministry of religious education in America, for which he received three Best Article Awards from the Catholic Press Association.
