I know it doesnt solve the problem, but you can switch to the desktop version of any mobile page on Safari by tapping the 'aA' button (top left, next to the url), then clicking 'Request Desktop Website'. Im sure there's a way to do it in other browsers. This lets you view the page without the annoying stuff.
