Paul Gerald Cattermole (7 March 1977 – 6 April 2023) was an English singer and actor. He was best known for being a member of the pop group S Club 7 from 1998 until his departure in 2002. Cattermole returned to the band in 2014 for their reunion tour and was originally due to return in 2023 for a planned second reunion tour before his death.
S Club, formerly known as S Club 7, are a British pop group formed in 1998 by Simon Fuller after he was fired as manager of the Spice Girls. [1] Original members were Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O'Meara, Hannah Spearritt and Rachel Stevens.
On 6 April 2023, band member Cattermole died of natural causes at the age of 46. [2] S Club announced the release of the single on 23 July 2023. [3] [4] "These Are the Days" is the first song to feature S Club without vocals by Hannah Spearritt, although the video includes old footage of her, as part of the original lineup.
The track served as the theme song to their third series, Hollywood 7, in 2001, and was the group's last single to feature band member Paul Cattermole. The song reached No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart, ranking at No. 70 on the year-end edition. The single features a cover of the Beatles's "The Long and Winding Road".

Originally, the group was founded by Bradley McIntosh, Jo O'Meara and Paul Cattermole. In February 2014, Tina Barrett joined them and the group, but in May 2015 Cattermole left the group after the S Club reunion.
