Brinchang (also Berincang; Jawi: برينچڠ) is a town and hill resort located at an altitude of 1,540 metres (5,050 ft) in Cameron Highlands in the state of Pahang, Malaysia. The town's name is derived from nearby Gunung Brinchang , which is the second highest point in Cameron Highlands.
Brinchang (1,450 metres (4,760 ft)) is the Highlands' second biggest town. The majority of its visitors are from Singapore or Malaysia. It is close to the central market, orchards, nurseries, museum and a golf course. Brinchang is also known for its “Night Market," an outdoor bazaar typically open on weekends and during school holidays.

Obviously the easiest way to reach the summit of this mountain is via road. But as the road winds around the mountain, it is also time-consuming. To follow this road from the nearest town, Brinchang, it will take 12 km walk for around 3 hours. One may also hire a taxi from Brinchang to get to the summit which will then follow this road.
