Dean Dewberry (1926–2006), a Jazz (American Music) Hall of Fame [clarification needed] concert pianist, was born and raised in St. Petersburg. He played in local night clubs with his wife, Penny Parker Dewberry, as well as with jazz musicians such as Duke Ellington and Wild Bill Davidson. [3]
