My assessment is based on using an 18", stocked 870 for typical HOME defense. I just don't believe a BH-gripped 14"-barreled 870 to be an advantage in that situation. Now, if a Tac-14 were intended as a truck or travel gun, then maybe the Aguila #1-buck mini-shells are the ticket. IF they cycle dead-nuts reliable.
Hello all, I am a big fan of Remington 870 Wingmasters. I have 2 myself. My wife is getting into trap shooting with me and needs a youth size gun to fit her 5'1'' frame. Are they youth 870 Wingmasters out there? I have seen one on the internet on some random website. None on gunbroker.com, none on google shopping, and none on Remington's website.

The 870 Wingmaster was introduce in 1950, so your 1931 date is out....this leaves it as a 1975 version as it clearly is not a 2005 model. A great looking gun at a great price! Well done. We have done so much for so long with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing! I love liberal math.
I stopped by today at one of the gun stores and there it was Remington Wingmaster 870 12ga 2 3/4. Used on sale for $225 (discounted from $270). Overall it looked really nice. Nice stock with no major wear or tear. Refinish looked used but over all fine (It would be fun project improving the look of the refinish).
Hello shotgun world, I've got a 870 wingmaster I bought off a friend and need help identifying the age. The serial code is S404576V. The stamp on the left side of barrel is reading PUQ im not sure what year this means as I have looked through Remington's firearm codes and cannot identify the year. I know the P stands for June but I cannot ...
Sharpshooters in Lubbock had two clean, late-1970s or early-1980s production 870 Wingmasters (blued carriers with stamped checkering and fixed Modified chokes) and a new Remington 870 Wingmaster 12 gauge. The new gun was priced around $300 more than the older Wingmasters, but after handling all three for a half hour, I decided the new gun was ...

I also bought a 1988 12ga 2 3/4" M870 Wingmaster with Rem Chokes & VR in 90% condition for $200 with box, hang tag and owner's manual. My smith has a similar gun for $230 with a soft ...
I just bought a used 870 wingmaster, 20 ga, 26" barrel, 20 ga frame, modified choke for $200.00. Its in at least 90% condition. It does not have a vent rib though and is 2 3/4" only. I saw a 20 ga barrel on clearance at a large gun shop Friday and it was $149.00 marked down from $199.00. This barrel did have the vent rib, and would shoot 3 ...

It is still in the original box. This particular gun has very nice high gloss wood with enhanced scroll engraving on both sides. Gun was manufactured in 1999.
