Wautoma is a city and the county seat of Waushara County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 2,218 at the 2010 census . The city consists of three noncontiguous areas: one is entirely within the Town of Wautoma , the second is entirely within the Town of Dakota , and the third straddles the boundary between the two towns.
The average household size was 2.46 and the average family size was 2.88. In the town, the population was spread out, with 22.5% under the age of 18, 5.6% from 18 to 24, 25.0% from 25 to 44, 27.7% from 45 to 64, and 19.3% who were 65 years of age or older.
