Muhammad Sanusi bin Md Nor (Jawi: محمد سنوسي بن مد نور; Malay pronunciation: [muhammad sanusi]; born 4 August 1974 [1]) is a Malaysian politician who has served as the 14th Menteri Besar of Kedah since May 2020 [4] and Member of the Kedah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Jeneri since May 2018.

Sanusi was born on 20 May 1960 in Gondanglegi village in Malang Regency. [1] His parents were sugarcane farmers. [2] He studied in his home village, graduating from a teachers's school before later receiving a degree from Sunan Ampel State Islamic Institution in Surabaya, later also receiving a master's degree from an economic institute in Yogyakarta.
