Mooncrest Historic District is a historic district in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, USA.This community was built during World War II as housing for defense workers. Mooncrest residents produced armor plate, munitions, and ships at the nearby Dravo Corporation on Neville Island.
The remains of the grist mill were rebuilt as a residence in 1961. Also located in the district are the Johnstonbaugh House (c. 1825), Benjamin Peters House (c. 1860), and Garman House (1866). [2] It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. [1]

Compass Inn is a historic inn and tavern located in Laughlintown, Ligonier Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. It is a 2 1/2-storey, five bay log and stone building in a vernacular Georgian style. The original section was built in 1799, and it is three bays wide. The two bay stone section was added in the 1820s.
