Canine histiocytoma. Histiocytoma is a common, benign, cutaneous neoplasm in dogs. Histiocytomas usually occur as solitary lesions, which spontaneously regress, and seldom recur. They can occur in dogs of all ages, but are more likely in dogs under three years of age.
