Stockton State Park is a public recreation area occupying 2,176 acres (881 ha) on the shore of Stockton Lake, nine miles (14 km) south of Stockton, Missouri.The state park occupies a northward jutting peninsula between the Big Sac and Little Sac arms of the 25,000-acre (10,000 ha) lake, which was created when the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers dammed the Sac River in 1969.
The median age in the city was 43.7 years. 24.5% of residents were under the age of 18; 6.9% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 20% were from 25 to 44; 22.9% were from 45 to 64; and 25.9% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 46.4% male and 53.6% female.
Stockton Lake is a reservoir located in southeastern Cedar County, northeastern Dade County, and southwestern Polk County, Missouri. The lake is V-shaped, and covers 39 square miles (100 km 2 ), with 298 miles (480 km) of shoreline.

Stockton Community Building, also known as the Trent-Sallee American Legion Post #230, is a historic community centre located at Stockton, Cedar County, Missouri. It was built in 1933-1934 through a grant from the Civil Works Administration. It is a two-story, rectangular building constructed of native limestone in a plain ashlar design. [2]
