The University of Central Florida's Student Government (UCF SG) is an advocacy group for the students who attend the university, representing the university's approximately 70,000 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. The UCF football program can be traced back to a speech given by the university's second president, Dr. Trevor Colbourn, in January 1979.
